Cross-Leaved Heath (Erica tetralix) is rarely found in the Clwydian Range and Llantysilio Mountains. It is to be found more widely on wetter heaths. It has small pink bell-shaped drooping flowers in clusters at the ends of its shoots and leaves in whorls of four.
